With the overwhelming number of questions we received from last month's webinar on Social Security, we revisited
the topic by having our presenter Thomas Stewart answer the questions asked during the webinar. Below is just one of the many questions answered. 

Question: Is the SSDI amount received or eligibility to earn SSDI affected by other disability funds received?

Answer:
Social security will not reduce your disability benefits (SSDI) because you receive, for example, private disability benefits. However, private disability benefits will usually be reduced by the amount you receive from Social Security.

Can Do Day 2013 - Wrap Up!

Thanks to everyone who participated in Can Do Day this year. We had 47 pledges and 24 pictures shared on our Facebook page which gathered over 430 likes to help us spread the can do spirit! We appreciate you for sharing your photos and pledges!    


Locally, we raised over $12,000 thanks to the generosity of eight local restaurants and Teva Pharmaceuticals!

Congrats to our Can Do Day Photo Contest winner Sandy V. from Ohio! She had 49 likes and 11 shares on her photo! Way to go Sandy!
