Many of us got our start in jewelry making by stringing beads on thread as children. Some of us are still avid beaders and others have moved onto working with wire and metal.
Our founder, Lisa Niven Kelly, has passed on her love of jewelry making to her youngest daughter Lucy. We are excited to announce Lucy's debut as a Beaducation instructor with our newest class: Stamping on Metal for Kids.
At 10 years old, Lucy is already a seasoned stamper and wants to bring her knowledge and approach to other youngsters. In just 17 minutes, her class teaches kids the basic tools and techniques to make their own stamped jewelry -- without boring them with too many details. We recommend this class for children who are 8 and older.
Of course, our Stamping on Metal Starter Kit is a great gift idea if your child has taken an interest in projects like this. Don't be fooled -- stamping on metal is fun for more than just jewelry! It would make a great activity for a birthday party, where kids can make their own party favors. We love these stamped backpack charms that can be customized with your favorite design stamp. And what about having your child make stamped gifts for the holidays? This is an activity that will keep you and your child creating together for years to come! |
Perfect for beginner and veteran stampers alike, our new Sample Packs are a great way to try out different sizes, shapes, and metals. These kits come with handy inserts that list the sizes and model numbers for when you are ready to reorder.
Each sample pack is available in Brass, Copper, Nickel Silver, and Aluminum.
