Greetings!

As we celebrate Black History Month, the OvergroundRR!!
(ORR!!) is reminded of our beloved mother of the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman, who had the necessary tools of her day to accomplish the freedom journey GOD assigned her to undertake.

Likewise we have the tools necessary for our leg of the journey.

Marching2March.org is here to serve our people as we move toward economic empowerment and Black Business Month in March.

As a Valued audience member of Sparks, just for you, here is a sneak peek of the 1st Quarter 2013 Conductor Newspaper...Delivering Now!

Recap of the January Ministers and Church Coordinators Meeting
Coordinator's Meeting
The January 5th meeting at Cascade United Methodist Church was an overwhelming success! The turnout and support for getting the word out about Black Business Month / Marching2March (BBM/M2M) was great!

ORR!! representatives Rev. Timothy McDonald, III, Aaron Turpeau, Herald Alexander and Nash Alexander, III gave rousing speeches. The breakfast was outstanding and the fellowship was warm and harmonious. The highlight of the meeting was the stirring 2 1/2 minute speech by Martin Luther King, Jr. on changing the financial landscape of the Black community.Click to listen to an excerpt of the inspiring King audio - click "Play Audio" button (from the "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech, April 3, 1968).

Please take a moment to download and circulate the BBM/M2M Opening Day Flyer and Calendar of Events to your congregation and other pastors through your church bulletin, outdoor signage or website or print.
