After Thanksgiving Thoughts:
The day before Thanksgiving, one of our readers sent us this thoughtful item about what she was thankful for. It is appropriate to share this with you.
Things I Am Thankful For......
* I am thankful for my wife who says it's hot dogs for dinner tonight because she is home with me, not with someone else.
* For the husband who is on the sofa being a couch potato because he is home with me and not out at the bars.
* For the taxes I pay because it means that I have income.
* For the mess to clean after a party because it means that I have been surrounded by family and friends.
* For the clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.
* For my shadow that follows me because it means I can get out in the sunshine.
* For a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.
* For all the complaining I hear about the government because it means that we have freedom of speech.
* For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.
* For my huge heating bill because it means I am warm.
* For the lady behind me in church that sings off key because it means I can hear.
* For the pile of laundry to do because it means I have clothes to wear.
* For the weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means I have been capable of working hard.
* For the alarm that goes off in the morning because it means that I am alive.

A Christmas-Time Chuckle
To help get us in the Christmas spirit, here is a little story you might want to share with others.
A church was having their annual Christmas program produced and presented entirely by their teenage youth group. The adult leaders allowed the teens to do everything - from planning to presentation.
On the day that it was presented, young Joseph came down the aisle of the church with the teen Mary riding a large dog (since no one had a donkey she could ride).
Her clothing was stuffed with a blanket to make her look like she was pregnant.
Joseph and Mary got to the front of the church to the stage that was set up and Joseph knocked on the door of the inn. The innkeeper came to the door.
Joseph said, "We need a room for tonight."
The innkeeper replied, "We ain't got no rooms."
Joseph said, "But can't you see my wife is pregnant?"
The innkeeper replied, "That's not my fault."
Joseph thought for a few seconds and said boldly, "Well, it ain't mine either!"

The greatest risk a senior faces is falls. While most falls occur in the bathroom, far too many of them occur in the dark, or poorly-lit conditions, throughout the home. A solution to getting around in the dark is the PathLights Automatic Wireless LED Safety Lights.
These safety lights illuminate your path around you at night. Use them on stairways, hallways, your bedroom, bathroom, or anywhere else that you need help to keep you from tripping in the dark. When you pass by a motion-sensing light, it automatically turns on the other lights, illuminating your path ahead. Each set contains 2 master lights with motion sensors and one slave unit that lights when either sensor light is triggered.
You can find the PathLights Automatic Wireless LED Safety Lights in our Safety Products department.
