Membership Drive

The SVA PTO Membership Drive is on now!  A membership form went home with students on Monday.  Additional forms are available in the office. 

This year the PTO has budgeted money for technology, field trips, and many other school activities, subscriptions and supplies.  

Please consider joining the PTO this year,  and return the membership form by Monday, August 29.

Mixed Bag Fundraiser

The first PTO fundraiser of the year kicks off on Monday, August 29 and runs through Friday, September 16. Look for information packets coming home with your child on Monday. Online ordering will be available, more info on that coming next week. We're hoping for 100% participation to make this a huge success! 


Parents & Pastries

Enjoy coffee, milk, and pastries while getting to know other SVA parents. In the cafeteria, before school on Friday, September 16. 

Back to School Night September 1, 6:00PM

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. This is a great opportunity to meet staff and other SVA families. 

Reminder: ALL bus riding families must attend a bus rider safety meeting in the cafeteria that evening.

Substitute Teachers Needed

Sycamore Valley Academy has an experienced and dedicated teaching staff, but our substitute list is short.  

If you or someone you know has the desire to be a substitute teacher at our amazing school, has a bachelor's degree, has passed the CBEST, and is willing to get a substitute credential and fingerprint clearance we would love to expand our team.
