It's almost October and we are  all wondering what happened to our hot, dry summer....it's seems to have ended abruptly without fanfare.  Dreams of the predicted  Indian summer are fleeting. October is Nominations month and the November AGM  is fast approaching. October 2 Meeting- Medical Marijuana

Did you know that Nanaimo has one of the largest medical marijuana growing and research facilities in Canada?  Opened in April 2014, near the Duke Point Ferry terminal, the company serves 4,000 patients across Canada and by the end of the year, Tilray estimates it will serve 12,000 patients. Please note that  new coordinators are needed to get the Men's Pub Lunch up and running this fall. Minimal time commitment is needed. Just choose a place for each month and inform the Communications Chair to put it on the website and the ENews. 

 

Men's Pub Lunch meets the Tuesday after the General Meeting at the Nanoose Community Centre at 11:30am to carpool to a different pub each month.
