As I prepared this month's newsletter, I realized how vital and current our club really is to all members.  We exemplify the key values of Learning, Involvement, Friends and Energy.  Be sure to attend the April 10th meeting, learn the latest information on vaccines, connect with friends returning from far and wide, and check out the not to be missed, exciting social events coming up. April 10th Meeting- Not Just a Poke in the Arm

                                       

A very important and current  issue in the news today is that of vaccinations.  We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Ed Ishiguro, Professor Emeritus from the University of Victoria, to our April 10th meeting. He will speak not only about the vaccines of which we are aware, but also about the next generation of vaccines.  Note the 9:15am start.

The temperatures are heating up in the California desert and Robert is looking forward to returning to the island this month and to resuming his work with the Management Committee. He thanks those members who stepped in while he was away.  He will be providing exciting information about a Western Canada PROBUS Club Rendezvous in Salmon Arm this September. Last Meeting Report
 

 

At the March 6 meeting, PROBUS club members enjoyed meeting Commander Darren Rich of the CFMETR and learning more about the role of the Canadian and US military, working in tandem in the area locally called Whiskey Gulf. Club members were relieved to learn.....Read More
