June in Oceanside - there's not much better, is there? Beautiful weather, a spectacular environment, and smiles on every face! There's no doubt we are blessed.
Now is a good time to think of how we can contribute to our broader community. Outlined below are two one-off opportunities (just a few hours of your time) to get involved with organizations who make a difference in the community - one a social service, the other involved with the environment. And - for just 10 minutes out of your day - a way to help our health services assess needs via a short survey.

Nanoose Community Services is in need of spotters for the Lantzville Rotary Golf Tournament on Friday June 6th. There are two shifts: 1:30-4pm and 4-6:30pm. The Rotary is kindly providing NCS with a share of the proceeds from this tournament. Please contact Liz Holme if you can help out this very worthy local charity.
Moorecroft Stewards, who provide volunteer assistance and funding to our beautiful local Moorecroft Regional Park, are looking for volunteers to "man" their booth at Art in the Garden, July 19-20. If you can spare a few hours to provide information on the park (including it's special history) on either of those days, please contact Judy.
