This new group will consist of one-time events and each event will be organized by a member, usually the one that suggests the outing. Ideas currently range from kayaking to ballet performances to mystery teas. Each event will be open to all members and members are encouraged to make suggestions. The organizational work involved should be minimal. The first event is scheduled for Wed. 26 March - a visit to Coastal Carvings, the Coombs gallery of Jeremy Humpherville with lunch beforehand at Cuckoo. Jeremy will demonstrate and discuss his design and carving techniques. Further detail coming soon. Contact Heather Popple with your ideas. |
