Holiday Luncheon
On December 10th, CIPH Manitoba Region enjoyed their Annual Holiday Luncheon at the Niakwa Country Club. Forty-three members and guests attended.
The members were invited to participate in the Siloam Mission Knickers & Kickers Campaign. We are pleased to report that a load of new underwear and socks were collected for the campaign. Thank you to Ken Friess and the Jones Goodridge team for delivering the donations to Siloam.
The final tally for the campaign included: Socks = 3,020 New Underwear = 1,210 Cash = $1,208.00
Siloam Mission extended their gratitude to the Region for their generosity!
Habitat for Humanity's CEO, Sandy Hopkins presented an update on Habitat's initiatives. CIPH Manitoba Region made a donation of $200 to Habitat. A basket draw was held which also raised an additional $195 for Habitat. Thank you to Trent Pestrak from Midwest Engineering for donating the basket.

GENERAL MEETING LUNCHEON Friday, March 4, 2016
The next Region General Meeting luncheon is being held on March 4, 2016 at the Canad Inns Polo Park.
Our Presenters, Michael Pyl, Planner and Andrew Ross, City Planner with the City of Winnipeg will describe recent population growth trends in the Winnipeg area, how this growth is being translated into development, and urban reserves as an emerging development type.
