EVEN SMALL CHANGE IS PROGRESS!
January Tips for Taking Action

When it comes to finding a safe place to put your money, there are a lot of options. Savings accounts, checking accounts, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts are popular choices. Each has different rules and benefits that fit different needs. To learn more about choosing the banking option that's right for you, click here

Companies that promise to quickly remove accurate negative information from a credit report are most likely a scam. The fact is, there's no quick fix for creditworthiness. You can improve your credit report, but it takes time, a conscious effort, and sticking to a personal debt repayment plan. For tips on credit repair, and how to tell if a credit repair offer is legitimate, click here

If you believe there is inaccurate information on your credit report, you can take action to have it removed from your file. The first step is to write to the consumer reporting company and identify each item in your report that you dispute. The company must investigate your claim within 30 days. To ensure that your dispute letter includes all necessary information and attachments, click here.
