As part of our effort to personalize learning and offer support, enrichment and learning extensions, both middle schools will begin using a new FLEX Schedule program starting the week of September 19, 2016.

We call this W.I.N. Time, which stands for What I Need and What You Need.   Students will be getting trained in their advisory class where they will learn how to search and enroll in classes for upcoming WIN classes each week.   On days when WIN is offered, students will report to their WIN course instead of their regular advisory class.

This will be a great opportunity for students to take ownership in their learning and choose whichever teachers or courses they want so they can review content, ask questions, experience enrichments or seek additional support. We are excited to provide an opportunity for student voice and choice in learning.WINtime will continue throughout the school year, and we look forward to incorporating these experiences into our learning practices.
