What's your favorite Doc Holiday quote from the movie

Is it ...
"I'm your huckleberry."
"You're a daisy if you do."
"Not me, I'm in my prime."

"Because Wyatt Earp is my friend."

or even a personal favorite ...

"Wyatt you're the only human being in my entire life that ever gave me hope."

Not that you asked, but mine is one you may not recall ...

Bronco Baseball Welcomes David Tufo as Director of Baseball Operations

SANTA CLARA, CA - Santa Clara baseball welcomes David Tufo as the Director of Baseball Operations. Tufo graduated with a BA in Economics from Willamette University in 2009 and is currently working towards his MS in Coaching Education from Ohio University with an expected graduating date of 2014.

"Growing up a Bay Area native, I have always followed Santa Clara Baseball," said Tufo. "Being able to be part of Coach O'Brien's staff here at Santa Clara is an amazing opportunity. The environment that Coach O'Brien has created here is second to none. I am excited to learn from the rest of the coaching staff and am very fortunate to be part of a university and baseball program with tradition like Santa Clara University."

Former Bronco Tommy Medica ('10) Called Up to the Show by Padres

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -  Former Bronco baseball standout Tommy Medica has been promoted to the big leagues for the first time in his career. Medica got the call from the San Diego Padres late Sunday night and the move was made official Tuesday. He was selected by the Padres in the 14th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

"We're really excited for Tommy," said Santa Clara head coach Dan O'Brien. "He's been playing great and deserves this opportunity. We weren't here when he was on campus but we've enjoyed hearing stories about how great he was for the program. We wish him all the best."

NCAA Concludes Study On Ball Seams

The campaign to change the college ball is gaining momentum. The NCAA Bat Certification lab at Washington State and the Rawlings Research lab have concluded a study about the "drag effect" of the flat-seam ball used in pro baseball vs. the raised-seam ball used in college baseball. The results-which were detailed in a letter from American Baseball Coaches Association executive director Dave Keilitz to the Division I head coaches-are striking.

"The fans love a balance in the game," Graham said right after another historically low-scoring College World Series. "They don't need the 77 home runs or whatever that (Barry) Bonds hit, but they need the excitement. There's something about the superhero and the home run. I noticed some people saying, 'Well, this is the real game.' No, that's not the real game. That's the dead ball-era game. That's not the game that popularized baseball. That's not the real game-that's poo-poo. The real game has balance."
