With the new year upon us, and the 2013 baseball season fast approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Happy New Year and inform you about some exciting events coming up for Santa Clara Baseball.

  

We are hosting our annual Bronco Baseball Kick Off Weekend on the weekend of February 8-9. Invitations are going out this week, but I wanted to first give you a brief description of some of the exciting things happening that weekend.

  

On Friday, February 8 we will have a Golf Tournament at noon at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose, followed by a Preseason Banquet at the home of Kevin Walters '82. On Saturday, February 9 we are hosting a special breakfast for Bronco Baseball Alumni prior to the Alumni Game which begins at 3:00pm at Schott Stadium. Specific details of all these events will be sent to you so you can plan accordingly and RSVP for you and your family.

  

The Bronco Baseball Kick Off Weekend will be a great chance to reconnect with former teammates, check out the improvements made at Schott Stadium and meet the 2013 Bronco Baseball team and staff. I truly believe that our current team will be most successful when former Bronco Baseball players, and our entire family of supporters, are involved as much as possible in our program. Thus, we hope you and your family can make it out to this fantastic weekend that will help launch us into a great 2013 season.
