Volunteering
It's been a little over a week since our students left school for summer break and I would be willing to bet many of our parents are already hearing "I'm bored." Like most parents, your response is probably "go read a book" or "go clean your room", to which we fully anticipate loud sighs of protest. We know this routine...we've all done it a thousand times. But we have an opportunity to do it differently...to do it better. The next time you hear "I'm bored," why not direct our students toward volunteer opportunities?
