Career Academies are Growing and the Results are Showing
With testing, prom, graduation and a myriad of spring concerts and sports competitions, this is always a busy time of year in the school district; and one more exciting activity happens at this time of year, as well. That is the induction of a new student cohort into the Career Academies of Birmingham. Next week, on April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boutwell Auditorium, Birmingham City Schools' Career Academies will welcome in a new ninth and tenth grade cohort of over 250 students into the seven Career Academies that our spread across six of our district's high schools.
