School Safety

 

Each Birmingham City School exists as a part of the larger community.  As such, we are, from time to time, impacted and affected by the events that happen in each respective neighborhood, geographical area and/or immediate surroundings.  Along those lines, one of our schools was impacted today by a reported utilities situation that occurred outside of the school and due to no fault or action of the system or its staff.  Nevertheless, staff and school and district administrators met the situation with calm and collected professionalism.  While the situation was resolved without incident, we can never find too many opportunities to talk about school safety.
