As the month of October ushers out National Hispanic Awareness Month which we recently celebrated across the district, it ushers in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Reconginzing that we are a part of the larger community, students from schools across the city painted the district pink and participated in a number of awareness and fund raising activities to support survivors, honor victims, and educate communities.   

BCS spotlight 
The Junior United Nations Assembly, also known as JUNA, is a 22-year-old program that gets students involved in current events and helps them better understand the duties and purpose of the United Nations.


 
Ramsay High School 2013 National Blue Ribbon Award Winner.

The United States Department of Education has awarded the National Blue Ribbon award- designating schools as one of the best in America- to more than 7,000 American schools since 1982.
