Community Celebration Today
A quick reminder that the community celebration is planned today for Washington State's newest ferry. The M/V Tokitae was partially built by Nichols Brothers Boat Builders of Freeland and will service the Clinton to Mukilteo route. The event runs from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and includes a tribal ceremony, tours of the pilot house and refreshments.

Coffee Feedback
Many thanks to all the folks who attended my recent Coffee with the Commissioner gathering at Bayview Farm and Garden. About 20 or us engaged in a lively and meaningful exchange of ideas and information. My appreciation goes to the crew at Bayview Farm and Garden's beautiful cafe for being such gracious hosts. Please watch this space for information about the next opportunity to get together and talk about County issues of interest to you.
