Improved e-Learning and webinar options support the NICHE Program at member hospitals

NICHE now has a more advanced Knowledge Center to better deliver e-learning content and webinars for our network of over 500 NICHE designated hospitals and health systems. The new Knowledge Center, powered by a robust learning management system (LMS), offers tools and resources for nurses and other healthcare providers to implement and sustain their NICHE programs.

The upgraded system allows member hospitals to access and assign NICHE courses and webinars on the Knowledge Center...or each site has the option to embed them on its own hospital's learning management system, streamlining and enhancing learning capabilities!

The NICHE Knowledge Center houses 

geriatric-specific online curriculum and hundreds of webinars, project management tools and other resources for use in developing, implementing and supporting your efforts to improve outcomes for older adult patients.

The new system's technology now puts these tools and resources right at your fingertips. It includes versatile navigation options to view content by type or organized by a number of specific topics...with more topics being added all the time! Due to the sheer volume of content, a multi-stage rollout of the LMS is planned - more options will be added as the roll out continues.

NEW Leadership Training Program

The NICHE Knowledge Center is also home to the new NICHE Leadership Training Program (LTP), a six-week online course used by hospitals to achieve NICHE designation. Recently upgraded, the LTP is now bundled in three parts and re-organized to speed the learning process. What's more, the program has improved capabilities to enhance the learner experience and NICHE coordinator administration.
