December Greetings from the Mansion!

On Thanksgiving weekend, we started our holiday tours and Christmas teas off with a bang. The house was packed with visitors and the tea was a big hit. In the coming weeks we have our wonderful Children's Christmas and Valley Voices "Evensong" events planned.  More details on these special events are included in this newsletter.  You can also visit  www.conradmansion.com  for more information.  Remember that all proceeds from special events and tours benefit the museum.

The gift shop has limited hours during the off season. Please call 755-2166 in advance for hours.  The gift shop will be open during our holiday tours.

Thank you, as always, for your support of the Conrad Mansion Museum!

Nativity Scene on Display

The full nativity was unveiled at the Christmas at the Mansion event.  We are so grateful to Miriam Emerson for her dedication to the restoration of these pieces.

The nativity scene is back on display. It will be available for viewing throughout the season. Make sure to stop by and see this beautiful work of art.

Please see our Nativity Scene Restoration page  on our website for more information on this project.

Generous Donation - Thank You!

This wonderful EdenPURE Heater was donated by the Marie Alguire Trust - Candy Stephens, Conservator.

As you may know it is very difficult to heat these older homes that have no insulation. This donation will not only enable the Mansion to keep its heating bill down a little, it will also help keep the office staff from getting frostbite while at work.  For this we are very grateful.

If you would like to help with a donation, please see this link on our website for our greatest needs list.

Thank you doesn't say enough...

Kristen Hamilton has been our marketing / media coordinator for the past two and a half years. December marks her last month working for the Mansion and we are sad to see her go. We have come to rely not only on the great work she does for us but also on her willingness to help out whenever she is needed.

Kristen...We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors and thank you so much for all of the work and volunteering you have done for the Conrad Mansion.
