October Greetings from the Mansion!

We are winding down the summer tour season (last scheduled regular tour day is October 13) but don't fret as there are plenty of opportunities to see the mansion after we close for regular tours.

Soon we'll be decorating for Christmas and finalizing all of our holiday plans - we hope to see you at one or many of these special events.  Christmas at the Mansion on October 25-27 is a highlight and sadly it is our last one scheduled so don't miss it - see details below.

On Thanksgiving weekend, we'll start our holiday tours and Christmas teas, then in December we have our wonderful Children's Christmas and Valley Voices "Evensong" events planned.  More details on these special events will be in our next newsletter or you can visit www.conradmansion.com  for more information.

The gift shop is open throughout the day on tour days. Following the regular season tours, please call 755-2166 for hours as they are limited in the off seasons.

Thank you, as always, for your support of the Conrad Mansion Museum!

30th Annual Christmas at the Mansion
October 25th - 27th

The Conrad Mansion Museum's 30th Annual Christmas at the Mansion is at the end of October...please make plans to attend this memorable event.  This is the final Christmas at the Mansion event planned.

A two-story live tree ablaze with lights and antique ornaments is the highlight although the beautiful decorations can be found on every floor.  Scents of evergreen and baked goods fill the air while music and laughter can be heard throughout the house.  It's a great opportunity to catch the holiday spirits early and enjoy Kalispell's cultural treasure.

Northwest's finest craftspeople will display their best creative work, along with vintage pieces and antiques.

Nativity Makeover - Eight (final) Piece

Joseph is the eight and final piece of the nativity scene that Miriam Emerson has carefully and beautifully restored for the Mansion.

These photos showcase the before, during and after shots of Miriam's restoration of Joseph.

We have highlighted each of the eight pieces over the past eight months.

Make plans to attend the 30th Annual Christmas at the Mansion event October 25-27 to see the full nativity scene on display.

We are grateful to the long-time Kalispell residents Rosalie Heineke, Lois Himsl, and Gerene Little for the original donation.

Also a special thank you to Miriam Emerson for taking on the restoration of these wonderful pieces.

Please see our Nativity Scene Restoration page  on our website for more information on this project.
