Nativity Makeover - Seventh Piece
CHERUB 3 of 3 is the seventh piece that Miriam Emerson has restored of the Nativity Scene that was donated to the Conrad Mansion in the early 80's.
These photos showcase the before and after shots of Miriam's restoration of the Cherub.
We have been highlighting a different piece each month then we'll showcase the full scene at the 30th Annual Christmas at the Mansion event in October.
We are grateful to the long-time Kalispell residents Rosalie Heineke, Lois Himsel, and Gerene Little for the original donation.
Also a special thank you to Miriam Emerson for taking on the restoration of these wonderful pieces. Please see our Nativity Scene Restoration page on our website for more information on this project.

30th Annual Christmas at the Mansion
For the last 30 years, the Conrad Mansion Museum has started the holiday celebration early with their popular Christmas at the Mansion event. Annually a dedicated staff of volunteers, led by long-time chairperson Nikki Sliter, decorates and prepares the mansion for this special event. An 18-foot live tree ablaze with lights and antique ornaments is the highlight although the beautiful decorations can be found throughout the house. Scents of evergreen and baked goods fill the air while music and laughter can be heard throughout the house. It's a great opportunity to catch the holiday spirits and enjoy Kalispell's cultural treasure.
This years' celebration is particularly memorable as it marks the last year that Christmas at the Mansion is scheduled.
As always, Christmas at the Mansion has juried the finest craftspeople from throughout the Northwest to display their best creative work, along with vintage pieces and antiques.
Preview Party - Friday, October 25th from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Enjoy the elegance of the holiday season with music, arts and crafts, champagne and appetizers. Tickets are $45 per person ($40 for members) and are available in the Gift Shop Tuesday through Sunday or by calling 406-755-2166. Reservations are required. Get your tickets early, as this event will sell out!
Christmas at the Mansion Bazaar - Saturday, October 26th from 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, October 27th from 11:00am-4:00pm. Tickets are available at the door for $5 per person ($2 for children).
This is a fund-raiser for the Mansion.
