Two ways you can help ensure fair school funding

This month, the Education Law Center is teaming up with our Campaign for Fair Education Funding partners to let state lawmakers know that education is still a priority for all Pennsylvanians. Please add the events below to your calendar and help us ensure fair education funding. You can make a difference!

June 15: "Call to Action" Day

On Monday, June 15, please participate in the statewide "Call to Action for Public Education Day!" Will you set aside a few minutes on Monday to call your legislators? Please click here for instructions and the basic talking points. Additional resources and materials can be found here. The basic message is that legislators must support a long-term, student-driven, and equitable funding formula that provides adequate resources for every student to be able to meet academic standards.

It is incredibly important for legislators to hear that people are paying attention. Thank you for spreading the word about what is happening to our schools!

June 23: Rally in Harrisburg

On Tuesday, June 23, the Education Law Center will join the Campaign for Fair Education Funding alongside hundreds of parents, students, teachers, and community leaders from across the state to rally for fair education funding at the State Capitol in Harrisburg.

Every student in Pennsylvania deserves an opportunity to learn. Let's show state lawmakers that our schools deserve to be funded fairly and at adequate levels this year!

Please consider attending the rally. We will meet at 12 p.m. for a press conference, rally, and discussions with legislators.
