WIF Sponsors Films By Two Local Filmmakers
Every year at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), WIF Seattle sponsors a film in which a female filmmaker plays a critical role. We've sponsored films by women from all over the world, but this year we're thrilled to be keeping things a little closer to home. We're proud to announce that we're sponsoring TWO narrative films: Lucky Them (Megan Griffiths, director) and Sold (Jane Charles, producer), both by our own WIF members. To find out more, check out our headline article WIF Sponsors Films @SIFF and come on out to support these films!

WIF Events in May
May is always a busy month for the film industry in Seattle and this year is no exception. Don't miss our The Second Tuesday meeting on May 13th at Northwest Film Forum. For more details, see our calendar page. On the following Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. we are co-sponsoring a filmmaker forum with SIFF at the SIFF Film Center. The Editor's Toolkit will focus on post-production, specifically visual effects. And watch for a special invitation to a fabulous pre-SIFF festival party for Northwest filmmakers.
