Applications are now open! 
The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is offering cash prizes to five community colleges for their exemplary leadership and commitment to sustainability education. The Community College Green Genome Awards funds should be used to support the college's enhancement, expansion, or creation of a practice or program related to clean technology education and training. Applications are due September 9, 2016 by 5:00 p.m. EDT to sustainability@aacc.nche.edu 






AACC is proud to work with The Solar Foundation and other national partners on a U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative. The Solar Training Network project will help connect solar employers, trainers, and job seekers.

Spotlight Stories
Northampton Community College

This college has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council for their solar panel installation work on their Monroe campus.



Minnesota West Community and Technical College and St. Cloud Technical and Community College

These colleges are leading the Minnesota Energy Center which has been awarded a $5.5 million Xcel Energy grant to support the growth, development, and delivery of renewable energy technologies in Minnesota.
