Webinar: "Green Buildings and the Workforce- NIBS Better Buildings Guidelines"
This webinar will give an introduction to the guidelines, walk through what implementation looks like on a community college campus, and discuss next steps. Engage with leaders of this initiative directly to answer your questions and  hear about the latest opportunities in the green building space. Spotlight Stories
Learn how CCCC made sustainability work in a rural environment and their journey to being a leader in sustainability by making it part of their core culture.

Congratulations to PCC which received AASHE's 2015 Campus Sustainability Case Study Award in December, 2015! The college was honored for their work in addressing food insecurity on their Rock Creek Campus through partnerships and creating learning opportunities.

Congratulations to Western Technical College for winning Second Nature's Climate Leadership Award for 2015. Their work utilizing their campus as a living lab among many other accomplishments, has helped make them a U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School.
Trends and Partner Opportunities

Jobs for the Future, National Wildlife Federation, and Bank of America worked together to produce this plan. It features many community college leaders and an action plan to support the clean economy.

AASHE: Calls for Proposals for their 2016 Annual Conference and Expo, due February 15th, 2016 at 5:00pm. Conference to be held October 8th-12th, 2016 in Baltimore, MD.

NAWB Forum will be held March 12th-15th, 2016 in Washington, DC.
Contact your local workforce board partners to ask about joining their Forum team to receive a special Community College discount.
