COLLEGE PREPARATORY INVITATIONAL (CPI) MARKS FIFTH YEAR WITH TREMENDOUS SUCCESS AND HIGH MARKS AT THE JIM BRANDON EQUESTRIAN CENTER IN PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Palm Beach, FL - January 26, 2015 - The nation's premiere equestrian college recruiting event, the 2014 College Preparatory Invitational (CPI), Sunday, January 18, 2015, at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Palm Beach, Florida.
 
The 2015 College Preparatory Invitational (CPI) marked its fifth year with 150 student riders and nearly 30 participating colleges/universities from all over the nation.  More than 30 states, including Hawaii, were represented by the diverse roster of participants who attended the three-day event designed to provide scholarships and educate student riders about the different formats of college equestrian competitions while providing riders with resources to help them create their own individualized college equestrian experience. At the conclusion of all competition and speaker presentations, the CPI recognized its top performing student riders in various categories and awarded 9 scholarships awards.

Each of the following student riders received a $500 scholarship award from FootingFirst, LLC:
*  CPI Advanced Equitation Division High Point Rider:

*  CPI Open Equitation Division High Point Rider:

*  CPI Limit Equitation Division High Point Rider:

Eligibility:
Contest is open to CPI riders Grades 9 - 12


 

In order to award the scholarship, there must be a minimum of three (3) rider entries per category in the award contest.

 

Award:
There will be one award per photo category. Each winner will receive $50. The award will be paid to a college, university, trade school or vocational school. Upon enrollment to any of these post-secondary educational schools, a written request from the award winner must be made for payment to the designated school. CPI Rider can win more than one category. Winners will be solely responsible for any federal, state or local taxes.

 

Entry Deadline:
 

All entries must be submitted and received by February 7, 2015, 11:00 a.m.

 

How to Enter:
Each Entry consists of a single image, but a CPI participant may submit more than one Entry.

Entries can only be submitted via email to [email protected] with the required information: rider name, telephone number, email address, and photo caption.

Submit one entry/photograph per email in accordance with the instructions that follow.

The Categories for entries are:
1. CPI Horse Athlete (Horse Only picture)
2. CPI Sponsor signage or presence
3. CPI Spectators
4. CPI Event Seminar
5. CPI Rider(s) receiving ribbon and/or prize
6. Friends together at the CPI (candid)
7. CPI Rider(s) in hunt seat action
8. Miscellaneous CPI Picture (any moment of your choice captured during the event)
