The north and south Ports of Manila are experiencing severe congestion resulting in delays in customs clearance and dispatch of cargo. The commercial vehicle restrictions enacted by the city of Manila that went into effect in February have inhibited the flow of cargo in and out of the ports. These delays may result in higher logistics costs for shipments utilizing these ports.
