Typhoon Hainan Creates Delays in the Philippines

Typhoon Hainan has made landfall and caused transportation delays across the central Philippines. Forecasted to be one of the strongest storms to ever make landfall, Typhoon Hainan could create waves up to 50 feet and result in approximately 15 inches of rain.

The Philippine Ports Authority suspended operations indefinitely in 16 ports to minimize the impact of the typhoon. Shipments currently in transit to and from Southeast Asia will experience delays. In addition, domestic and international flights have been cancelled at over 25 locations impacted by the storm

We are closely monitoring the situation and will be updating any clients whose shipments are directly affected. If you have any questions, please contact your move manager, who can provide you with the latest available information.
