Military action along the Gaza strip is affecting operations at the Port of Ashdod. 

The recent military action occurring in the Gaza strip has begun to impact operations at the Port of Ashdod, located 23 miles from Gaza. All schools in the area have been closed due to the ongoing rocket attacks and many personnel at the port are unable to safely come to work as a result.  

Although the port is attempting to maintain regular service, their response time may be delayed and communications will be limited as the military conflict continues.
