MARCH 2016 UPDATE
As stated in our General Plan
"Critical to Claremont's quality of life is the celebration and active preservation of our heritage." It goes on to say that Claremont, a regional leader in preservation, is committed to maintaining and enhancing our cultural and architectural heritage." I would also add to that our natural environment.
As the only not-for-profit organization in Claremont charged with documenting, maintaining and disseminating our City's history the responsibility is enormous. History does not stop for anyone, it is a continual process that unless preserved and documented can be lost forever.
