Video Submissions Are Being Accepted for

The 2016 NRHA Invitational Freestyle Reining

Sponsored by the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau 

  
Oklahoma City, Okla - July 18, 2016 -- The National Reining Horse Association  (NRHA) is pleased to announce the return of the freestyle event during the 2016 NRHA Futurity. The $20,000 added NRHA Invitational Freestyle, sponsored by the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau, will be held on November 30, 2016 at 6 p.m.

 

NRHA will be selecting four out of the ten riders from social media to participate in this exciting spectator sport! A contest based on popular vote will be held to determine the riders. To be eligible, you just have to be a current NRHA member in good standing!

 

Send your best freestyle reining routine to Hayley Eberle at heberle@nrha.com. All video submissions meeting the requirements will be published on social media so that reining fans across the globe may pick their favorites.

 

Submissions must be received by August 1st at 11:59 p.m. in order to be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted. All videos must be downloadable files that meet the following formats: MOV, MPEG4, MP4, AVI, WMV, MPEGPS, FLV, 3GPP, or WebM. Files sent in an email or through a Dropbox link will also be accepted as long as they are in one of the approved formats listed above.

Founded in 1966, the National Reining Horse Association is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting and encouraging the development of and public interest in the sport of reining. The focus is on developing and maintaining suitable standards of performance and judging and in providing a fun filled, family-oriented atmosphere. The NRHA would like to continue the celebration of our 50th anniversary with our corporate partners, members and supporters for making this association a true success.
