#1. World Show Special Events
Canadians - as a benefit of your AQHA international membership, click here to obtain your complimentary admission badge to the 2014 AQHA World Championship Show and your invitation to the annual International Reception on Friday, November 21, 2014.
The AQHA World Championship Show is shaping up to be an exciting event. Show entries are up from last year, and we've got more than $2.5 million in awards and prizes up for grabs. In addition to the top-notch competition inside the arena, you can look forward to some great new features and special events.
New features include a new Kidz Corral for kids of all ages to play and do crafts, and parents can watch the closed-circuit TV of the competition in the arena; a Champion Sports Zone on the concourse, where you can enjoy a full bar and kick back while keeping up with national sporting events; and live music from members of the popular Oklahoma City band, Prime Time, on Saturday, November 8, Friday the 14th and Friday the 21st in the Jim Norick Arena.
Also new this year, AQHA is bringing back organist Donnie Neff during the evening finals on the final three days of the show. And, as always, look forward to great shopping from the more than 140 vendors at the free trade show. Get the complete list of special events.
World Show Sale
There are several high-quality American Quarter Horses for sale Saturday, November 15, at the World Show Sale. Check out the digital catalog available through Robin Glenn Pedigrees or the app that you can easily download on your iPad, iPhone, Android device. If you can't be in Oklahoma City for the sale, AQHA will have a free live feed.
Bring Your Paperwork to the World Show
As usual, AQHA's customer service staff will be on hand during the World Show to complete any business you have, and members are encouraged to stop by the booth and renew their memberships to receive a free gift!
#2. Deadlines for Stallion Owners A friendly reminder that two important deadlines are fast approaching: stallion breeding reports and Incentive Fund nomination forms are due November 30. Get more information
#3.Showing Webpage Redesign
The showing section of the AQHA website is getting a facelift, and will be unveiled next week. Look for extended coverage of the AQHA show industry plus an improved layout that makes it easier to find what you're looking for.
#4. 2015 Convention
AQHA has updated their website to include hotel information for the 2015 AQHA Convention in Fort Worth. Registration information and tentative schedule will be coming soon.
