AQHA News Bits
#1. Quick Turnaround Time at AQHA & 2014 Prices
If you've got registrations and transfers to take care of, take advantage of AQHA's quick turnaround time and 2014 prices. Typically the busiest time for AQHA processing registrations, transfers and memberships is in the fall, so you are encouraged to send in registrations and transfers soon -- so AQHA can get them taken care of more timely. AQHA's goal is to get customers' work back to them efficiently and accurately while providing the highest levels of customer service and quick turnaround times. During this upcoming busy season, AQHA wants to work with members and encourage them to send their paperwork in and/or renew their memberships sooner rather than later. For current members who are sending in transfers of ownership, remember that AQHA offers a low, one-time fee to transfer a horse, regardless of how many owners. Effective January 1, the transfer fee increases from $15 to $20 per horse, so there is more reason to send transfers in before the end of the year. AQHA's transfer fee has remained at $15 since 1997. AQHA recently improved the photo upload process for online registrations and also launched an online genetic testing order form, giving you access to these services 24/7. Any work submitted online receives expedited service, as it is typically processed the next business day. In 2015, registrations submitted via the online system will remain at their current pricing levels, while applications NOT received online will see a $5 increase. Registrations can still be mailed and faxed to AQHA; however, members will save time and money by submitting them online. As always, you are encouraged to be sure paperwork is filled out correctly and that any supporting documents and photos also are sent. AQHA's Customer Service representatives will be happy to help you. Just call 806-376-4811 for assistance. To find registration applications, transfers and other forms, visit www.aqha.com/resources.
#2. Welcome to Championship Season

Please stop by AQHA's booth to process your paperwork or say hello to some of your staff as well as one or two members of the Executive Committee.
