Earlier this week, the AQHA Executive Vice President Search Committee retained the services of Witt/Keiffer, the country's preeminent executive search firm, to evaluate both internal and external candidates for the position of AQHA executive vice president. AQHA Past President Steve Stevens of Houston is the chairman of the search committee. "Bringing Witt/Keiffer on board is the next step in the process to ensure AQHA continues to have the best leadership as we move forward," Steve says. "Witt/Keiffer staff will be at AQHA throughout this process, including visiting with various employees regarding the executive vice president position. The search for a new EVP is a top priority, and the search firm and search committee are committed to a thorough process to assist AQHA."
