Langley,  BC - January 3, 2014) --- CQHA cordially reminds you of our 2014 Annual General Meeting to be held in conjunction with the 2014 Alberta Horse Breeders & Owners Conference which takes place in Red Deer, January 10-12, 2014. CQHA is pleased to be an official sponsor of this conference, and this will be the second occasion we have held our AGM in conjunction with this annual Conference.    

  

Everyone is invited to our CQHA AGM, there is no fee or pre-registration required to attend our meeting.

You do not have to be a CQHA member to attend, unless you wish to stand for election as a CQHA Director and/or to vote. Besides the usual CQHA association business, special resolutions will be made as follows:

Notice to Members of Canadian Quarter Horse Association/Association Canadienne de Quarter Horse


Notice is hereby given that special resolutions will be made at the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Association on January 10, 2014 at Boardroom 2, Sheraton Red Deer Hotel, Alberta , 3310 - 50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB starting at 5:00 p.m., seeking the members (two thirds of the votes cast at the meeting) approval for Continuation (Transition) of the Association under the Canada Not for Profit Corporations Act. This Act has been proclaimed and now stands in stead of the previous Part II (Non Profit) of the Canada Corporations Act ( the old Act) Information about Continuation under the new Act can be found on the Industry Canada website  www.corporationscanada.ic.gc.ca
