CQHA's 2013 Annual General Meeting

(Carberry, MB - February 3, 2013) --- CQHA is reminding you about our invitation to join us at our 2013 Annual General Meeting to be held in conjunction with the 2013 Equine Canada Annual Convention in Ottawa between February 6-10, 2013. CQHA is an affiliated breed association within Equine Canada's Industry Division which will be holding an open Industry Forum on Saturday, February 9, from 9 AM to 5 PM in the Richelieu Room immediately prior to the CQHA AGM.
Everyone is invited to our CQHA AGM, there is no fee or pre-registration required to attend our meeting. You do not have to be a CQHA member to attend unless you wish to vote. (However, an EC convention registration fee is required to attend the Equine Canada Industry Forum.)
Besides the usual CQHA association business, there will be a proposal on the AGM Agenda, recommended by the CQHA Board of Directors, to amend the CQHA Constitution and By-Laws as follows:
- to change the scope of the required annual audit process from a complete corporate financial audit to an less formal audit review process.

In addition to the CQHA AGM, we encourage our CQHA members to participate in the 2013 Equine Canada Annual Convention. If you work with horses and horse people, are an active volunteer, coach or athlete, you'll want to register early for the for the 2013 Equine Canada Annual Convention slated for February 6-10 in Ottawa, Ontario. On-line registration is now open.
One registration fee gives you access to a multitude of opportunities, including keynote addresses, plenary sessions and clinics, all tailored to address the unique needs of participants involved in equestrian sport, recreation and industry.
