BCQHA, with the financial support of the CQHA and MBNA Canada, was the proud sponsor of the winning American Quarter Horse team at this year's P.N.E.
Each member of the team rode superior performances, displayed exemplary sportsmanship and represented the British Columbia Quarter Horse Association with dignity and maturity far beyond their years. Team Quarter Horse entered the youngest team with their combined ages totaling 63 years. BCQHA is incredibly proud of their team of young ladies and their fabulous American Quarter Horses.
The following team members are to be commended: Haley Stradling - Dressage and Jumping; Dani Wein - Barrel Racing; Megan Daly - Trail and Dressage; and Amanda Daley - Trail, Jumping and Barrel Racing.
Special thanks to Leslie Wallace who spent many hours on the phone putting together our winning team and was on hand to cheer on our girls each of the four days of the "Battle of the Breeds".
Also thanks to the families of our young riders who extend their encouragement and support, to help them meet their competition goals. It was truly an enjoyable event where the riders and their families developed a strong camaraderie.
