I'm thrilled to announce we've been hard at work compiling recipes for my second book in the A Well-Seasoned Kitchen collection, due out on shelves later this year. By receiving my newsletter, you've become an integral part of the Seasoned Kitchen community (thank you), and I've enjoyed connecting with many of you here and on social media. It's been an honor to have received such praise for the original book written with my mom, Sally Clayton, sharing our family's recipes and stories. With this next book, I aim to share many more sophisticated, flavorful, and easy to prepare recipes, creative menus, and beautiful 4-color photos. I'm looking to you, the Seasoned Kitchen community, for help in finalizing this next cookbook. Specifically, I'm looking for home cooks from all places and spaces across the US - high altitude, sea level, the Great Plains - to help test the treasure trove of recipes I've created and gathered in preparation for book two in the A Well-Seasoned Kitchen collection.
Our goal is to ensure that the recipes selected for book two work in a variety of kitchens, that the directions are clear, and that the cook times and portion sizes are correct.
Applications must be received no later than March 1, 2015. Selected testers will be given three recipes to test, and in thanks for helping out will receive a special gift from me, be acknowledged in the new cookbook, and be able to pre-order signed copies of the new book at a 25% discount. These purchased book(s) will be in the very first shipment delivered after the book comes out! All testing feedback must be received by March 14th at 5pm MST.
