Chocolate Love: Warm Chocolate Cake

Chocolate is synonymous with Valentine's Day, and it's easy to win your beloved's heart with this Warm Chocolate Cake recipe. While it may look like a typical chocolate cake, this mouthwatering dessert offers a sweet surprise: when you cut into it, a delicious warm chocolate sauce oozes out of the center. A very popular dessert at many restaurants today, credit must be given to the famous Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the original creator of Warm Chocolate Cake. This is supposed to be his original recipe, and I'm thrilled to share it with you, so you can share it with the ones you love.

RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, cut into 1/2-inch slices

  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped

  • 4 eggs

  • 4 egg yolks

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 4 teaspoons flour

  • Confectioners (powdered) sugar for dusting top of cakes
