"Le petit déjeuner," say the French. We call it breakfast.

Everyone loves a good breakfast (sometimes even for dinner), and the recipe for my Goat Cheese and Fresh Herb Omelets was born from our travels in France a few years back. While my husband Robert and I explored the French countryside (and cities), fresh herbs and goat cheese became a dietary staple for us. We love omelets for breakfast, and these are delicious, quick to prepare - and healthy too!

RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh herbs - chives, basil, oregano
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled goat cheese

A Well Seasoned Kitchen Remodel Continues

We're almost done...and we are beyond thrilled. There's a few pieces left (the custom mosaic, draperies, some furnishings) and a bit more installation happening, but we are still on schedule to be done before Christmas. I absolutely love all my new appliances and am having fun playing with my new Wolf Steam-Convection Oven.
