Long Island Sound deserves a plan to protect it from threats like Broadwater. That plan is the
Blue Plan.
SB 312 will inventory the Sound's natural resources and human uses, and develop a plan to avoid conflicts between them. The state Senate already passed the bill unanimously, but
if it doesn't get a House vote by midnight Wednesday, it will die.
Please call your state representative's office--right now (they'll be at work til late at night!) or first thing in the morning. You can look up your rep's phone number here.
All you have to say it this: "I'm a constituent from ____ and I want planning and protection for the Sound's resources. Please ask Rep. ____ to talk with the House leadership about bringing SB 312, the Blue Plan, for a vote."
