The Connecticut legislative session kicks off today. Work with us for the next three months to protect our air and water and build healthier communities!
We work closely with legislators, state agencies, fellow environmental groups, and citizens like you all across Connecticut to protect existing laws and find new ways to make sure we all have clean water to drink and swim in, healthy air to breathe, and vibrant communities.
Our top priorities this year include:
- Stopping climate-polluting methane leaks from natural gas pipelines
- Protecting and managing the health and vitality of Long Island Sound
- Making transit more rider-friendly and planning for the long haul
- Keeping the laws that protect our land, air, and water strong
As the session really starts rolling, we'll keep you in the loop about major developments and chances to speak up for the environment!
