Sequestration is Just 16 Days Away!
 
 
Delayed slightly by the New Year's Eve deal known as the American Taxpayer Relief Act, the automatic, across-the-board spending cuts known as sequestration are now scheduled to take effect on March 1, 2013.

Sequestration will have a significant impact on the level of funding that states and local school district receive to help offset the additional costs of providing special education and related services to students with disabilities.

We've joined NDD United (Non-Defense Discretionary United) - a group of 3,200 organizations working to stop sequestration.

 

NDD United has sent a letter to Members of Congress and the White House seeking a balanced approach to deficit reduction.

Now, we urge you to lend your voice to this effort by participating in the NDD Day of Action this THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2013.
