IEEE Society Support
Matthew Taylor is providing support for the creation of a new local IEEE Robotics and Automation society. The society is currently being lead by University of Colorado instructor Sam Siewert. The new society needs signatures from 12 IEEE members in order to solidify its formation. If you would like to be a part of the new Robotics and Automation society or would like more information please contact Matthew Taylor. Matthew can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by phone 303-415-1112 ext. 35.
David Farrell is providing support for the IEEE Denver Section Signal Processing Society as treasurer.
Brighton HS Science and Pre-engineering Program
Chris Crosby is working with Brighton High School on the advisory committee to help kick off their pre-engineering curriculum for next fall, starting with a digital electronics course. Project Lead The Way is active in all 50 states with 250,000 students enrolled nationally. This non-profit organization helps bright students develop the skills necessary for a career in Science or Engineering. CEPD continues to look for ways to foster interest in engineering for our next generation of home-grown inventors and designers.
