"... with my God I can scale any wall."                (Psalm 18:29b NLT)

New Sermon Series Starts This Sunday!

"WALLS"... Sometimes they need to be conquered.  Sometimes they need to be faced.  Sometimes they need to be built.  And, sometimes they need to be torn down.
Join us this Sunday for worship @ 8:30 am, 10 am or 11 am as Pastor Kyle continues this 4-week series exploring some of the "WALLS" in the Bible and some of the "WALLS" in our lives.
         All are welcome!
Alabaster Offering is this Sunday, Sept. 25...

Twice a year, we receive a special
"Alabaster" offering for mission projects. 100% of these offerings goes outside our local church for the purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, & homes for missionaries all over the world (including the U.S.). This is an offering of loose change, cash, & checks that individuals place in "Alabaster" boxes located near the back of each section. You may place your Alabaster offerings in these boxes anytime on Sunday morning, Sept. 25.
Jeff & Brittany Estep's Last Sunday @ MV -
Please Bring Cards of Appreciation...

God blessed us with Jeff and Brittany Estep for two years here at MV Community. Jeff and Brittany joined our MV staff team in early September, 2014. Jeff has served as our Young Adults/Sports Outreach Pastor and Brittany has served as an Administrative Assistant for Youth, Children and Sports ministries. God has used both of them to make a powerful and positive difference in the lives of many. We are grateful that God allowed them to come our way, and they have helped our church move forward in "Bringing Christ & People Together." Thanks Jeff and Brittany!

Brittany has accepted a position as an Admissions Counselor for Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), and Jeff will become a Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at MVNU, working mainly with pitchers. This is a good move for them, and more importantly, they believe it is "God's move" for them. Though we will miss them, we are happy for the Estep's and all that God has in store for them at Mount Vernon.
Jeff and Brittany's last Sunday at MV Community will be September 25. We encourage you to bring cards of appreciation to the church that day and place them in baskets in the Sanctuary and Chapel foyers.
The vital areas where the Estep's have served (Young Adults, Sports Outreach, & Admin. help) are important to our church and our mission. Your Church Staff and Church Board are praying and planning about ways these ministries can continue to grow and move forward. Please pray for the church and for the Estep's as God continues to lead, guide and bless His Church.

Letter from David Gallimore

Greetings in the STRONG name of Jesus!  It has been a very busy and productive summer of ministry.  I ended up preaching 10 camp meetings, along with a couple of revivals during the months of June, July, and August.  Thanks so much for your faithful prayers.  I have sensed a very special anointing in recent services.  God is doing some amazing work in individuals lives, homes, families, and churches.  To God be the Glory!

I am now back into a full slate of fall revivals.  We had a great meeting in Paris, Kentucky last week.  This week I am ministering at First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington, West Virginia.  Great services yesterday...please pray for a mighty move of God's power in the remaining services.

Next week I will be in South Georgia at the Glory United Methodist Church in Alapaha, GA. Prayers are appreciated as I bring God's Word to this wonderful congregation.  In October our ministry will be traveling to Bridgeton, New Jersey, Mannington, West Virginia, Mount Olive, Georgia, Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Tabor City, North Carolina.  The road gets long from time to time...but the "treasures being laid up in heaven" are well worth it!!!

Thanks again for your prayers and financial support!  You are with us in this vital ministry.  MAY GOD BLESS YOU REAL GOOD TODAY!

Love & Prayers,

David A. Gallimore
