Missionary Books
Keep checking the library, the new missionary books are on order and should arrive any time.  Ask Amber Taylor or David Goodwin and they will get you one of these great books.

  Alabaster Offering
September 25
This is an offering received twice a year to fund the purchase of land, construction of schools, churches, & medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers around the world.  If you don't have an Alabaster box, pick one up in the foyer.

Pastor Appreciation
This will be celebrated during the month of October.  We encourage everyone to take the time to express your love and appreciation to our pastoral staff.  Need an idea?  cards, emails, phone calls, an invitation to lunch or dinner, homemade goodies, gift cards.  Call the church office for a list of their favorite restaurants and stores.  This is a great time to reflect and show our staff how great they are!

Ladies Luncheon

We met for lunch the first Tuesday (usually) of each month at 11:30 am.  We go to Aiken, Augusta, North Augusta & surrounding areas.  Watch the worship folder a couple of weeks prior for location & sign up to go.

Ladies Getaway 2016
SC District Ladies Getaway is November 11-13.  Registration forms and payment in full are due Wednesday, Sept 7.  Please include your roommates on your form.  Barbara Richardson, Brittany Estep & Janice Lee will accept your forms.

   Ladies Fellowship 
resumes September 20th at 6:30 pm.  Laura Greene will be our guest speaker & dinner will be provided.  Please sign up in the foyer & bring school supplies for Seeds of Hope.
October 18 is the date for October Ladies Fellowship.  Special Guest Speaker is Darlene Williams.  Watch the worship folder for more details.

Yard Sale
October 15, 7 am - noon
Inside spaces are $25 (includes 2 tables) & outside spaces are $15 (no tables provided).  All money is due up front and the event is rain or shine.  Inside spaces may be set up Oct 14, 6-8 pm.  Sponsored by Ladies' Ministry & KidsWay.  See Barbara Richardson if you have questions.

  

 

Please join us for our weekly Tuesday morning "Man-Up" devotions.  All men & boys are invited to meet at 6:00 am in the Chapel for coffee,  doughnuts, great fellowship, followed by a brief devotion before you begin your day.

Open to anyone desiring to learn more about the beliefs, history and ministries of our church & will prepare you for church membership, if desired.  Childcare is available.  Contact the church office for more information.

Have you checked out the library lately?
Changes are being made to the library shelves.  Books are being moved and where you usually find your books may be different now.  Along with the changes in the main library, we are also looking forward to starting a "mini library", run on the bookcart in KidsWay.  We hope this will increase the number of readers using the main library as well. 
Adult volunteers are still needed to help after services on a rotating basis in the main library and KidsWay.  If you think this could be your niche, please contact Amber Taylor (803.617.8731).  Suggestions are always welcome.
