When it comes to hiring, sometimes the hardest part is just getting potential employees in the door. So for this month's "Tips and Tricks" we chose to focus on recruiting.
Five Creative Recruiting Tips:
1. Utilize Social Networks
Everyone is on some sort of social networking platform, so why not use that to your advantage? We've found some of our best employees utilizing Facebook and LinkedIn.
2. How about your website?
Include a "Join our Team" section on your website and post all open positions.
3. Employee Referral Program
Your current employees are great resources for recruiting new employees because they know the atmosphere and what's expected, so why not leverage this resource?Create an incentive program where you reward your current employees for great referrals.
4. Word of Mouth
Start using your own business connections to get the word out about open positions.
5. Blue Ribbon Personnel Services
We are a great resource, because we've already done the leg work that comes with recruiting. We have a large database of well qualified individuals with a variety of professional backgrounds and skills.
Now if we all had this guy working for us, it might be easier to draw in great candidates.
