March is a busy time for Marian Middle School. Marian alumnae receive college acceptances, eighth graders hear from high schools, and Marian Magic is just around the corner. This week we are excited to welcome Principal Christy Toben and math teacher Heather Olson back from maternity leave. Foundress Sister Barbara Roche, who served as our interim president for the first half of the year, is also back this week as our Academic/Graduate Support Associate. We're grateful for this and so much more.

Marian Girls Accepted to High School

We are proud of the Class of 2018! Many of our eighth grade students received high school acceptance letters over the past month. Among the schools they have been accepted at are: Bishop DuBourg High School, Cor Jesu Academy, Incarnate Word Academy, Nerinx Hall High School, Rosati-Kain High School, and Trinity Catholic High School. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they begin their transition into high school.

When You Believe - Marian Magic

Marian Magic, "When You Believe," is Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Ritz Carlton St. Louis. This year's event is presented by Ascension Health and Scottrade. Our Best of Live lineup includes: Cardinals tickets; an overnight stay at the Ritz Carlton and dinner for two at a nearby restaurant; and golf, lunch, and an overnight stay for four at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau. Excellence In Education Nominations

St. Louis Family Magazine is hosting their first annual Excellence in Education awards. This is your chance to nominate teachers who have gone above and beyond to serve. Click here to nominate a Marian teacher. All nominations must be submitted by April 4.

	Eat For A Cause Make lunch a selfless act by eating at the SLU Chipotle at Grand and Forest Park Parkway on Saturday, March 22, from 12 to 3 p.m. Bring this flyer, show it on your smartphone, or tell the cashier and they'll give 50% of the proceeds to Marian Middle School.
	Marian Middle School is now part of Walter Knoll Florist's Lend-A-Hand Program. Each time someone makes a purchase on www.wkf.com and selects Marian Middle School, Walter Knoll Florist donates $2 to Marian.
